The Cottage Policies
Cancellation Policy
Spruce Lodge is not a large resort and cancellations hurt our day to day operations. Cancellations and changes must be made no later than one week prior to arrival. If cancellations are made within one week of arrival, you are responsible for your night stay or half the stay for multiple nights unless we are able to fill your reservation. If you make any changes less than one week prior to arrival that decrease the length of stay or number of guests, you will be responsible for the original reservation.
Damage / Dirty Policy
If the property is damaged during your stay, you will be charged a minimum of $500. If the damage is so severe that we are unable to rent the Cottage until repairs are completed, we will also charge for loss of income.
Pets and smoking in the townhouses is strictly prohibited and considered damage.
Sleeping Policy
The Cottage’s sleeping arrangements are in line with the Fire Code. We will not allow more people than there are beds, as it will violate our village Fire Code. If more than 6 people are found to be staying in the Cottage, your party will be asked to leave and charged for the entire stay.
Parking Policy
The Cottage has two marked parking places. The parking in the front of the property is for the Main House. Parking permits will be issued upon arrival. Vehicles parked in any parking spot without a parking permit will be towed at owner’s expense. There is a trolley that stops in front of Spruce Lodge. We recommend friends of guests ride the trolley or park somewhere off the property.

Breakfast is not included with the Cottage. Breakfast is only for the bed and breakfast guests of the Main House.
